Netflix for Clothes

Do you ever dream about never repeating an outfit? Have you ever worn an outfit, but made sure to keep the tags on to return it? Do I sound absolutely ridiculous?

My answer to all 3: Yes! (And yes, I think I sound absolutely ridiculous.)

I googled “Netflix for Clothes” (because of course I did). Believe it or not, there are quite a few options. I decided LeTote best fit my needs, and signed up. It’s $50/month and in each tote you receive 3 clothing items and 2 pieces of jewelry. Both LeTote and Rent the Runway provide shipping back and forth, so the set amout is $50 + tax.

Pros:

Good array of pieces–dresses, tops, pants, skirts, jewelry. Department store brands (not high-end designer, but not H&M). New options fairly often. Option to purchase at “consignment” prices (about 20%-25% off retail). Accessory only options.

Cons:

Uses USPS for delivery (RtR uses UPS which is more efficient). All items must be sent back together unless you are purchasing.

So far, I have only purchased this bracelet from LeTote. It’s fairly simple, and I wear it a whole lot.

My wrist in action!

Despite only purchasing a single bracelet, I love a lot of the pieces I’ve received.

Here is a glorious photo of one of my favorite tops from LeTote (photo credit goes to one of my BFFs who was being a creeper). I feel like I never have casual tops since I seem to focus on purchasing pieces that are work appropriate, so I enjoyed having something a little more comfy.

I really thought about keeping this top, but realized that negates the purpose of renting (can’t always be buying!), so I wore it twice and sent it back. That being said, I haven’t missed it. And that is why I’m renting.
